WALK 19 North London – February 2022
a performative event with multiple voices speaking across place and time
Created in collaboration with Bettina Fung, this event combined stillness and slow movement with a paper trail that acted as both guide and storyteller.
Speaking through human and non-human voices, the unfolding text shared overlapping stories of the local area, including plant colonies, shifting communities, sites of healing, and overlooked open spaces. The work offered participants a unique embodied experience, encountering both the park’s trees and landscape alongside its broader context through the assembly of stories of plants, people, relationships and histories.
The event was created during Sound September 2022 and REFUGIA, hosted by Five Years Gallery in 2022.
