HYBRID SPECIES May 2022

This project explored speculative ecological futures through sculptural installations made from found and recycled materials.

In collaboration with artist Poppy Franziska, we created a temporary woodland installation in London Fields centred on an invented light-emitting forest species, alongside sculptures formed from repurposed street waste. Through playful invention and material transformation, the work imagined hybrid life forms emerging from environmental precarity, thereby opening a space to think beyond the present and towards other possible futures.
