Fracked
“Following the explosion of the appropriately named perforation gun, an enormous explosion of liquid erupts from the mining conduit to shatter the rock, inducing unpredictable and haphazard fissures. In these artworks, I translated the accidental and damaging processes of fracking, and applied these to paper and 3D objects through ripping, scratching, bleaching, staining and destroying.” Catherine Harrington
